What is the future of Web3? Host Derek E. Silva joins Greg Osuri, Founder and CEO of Akash Network, the open-source, decentralized cloud. They take a deep dive into the future impact of AI, overcoming the challenges of distributed networks, and the battle for data sovereignty.
@zolotokrylin Different folks on our team like Sean, Anne, and review from others. :) It took some time to put together!
@discipulus And if you pull to refresh? Ultimately this means you'll need to click and drag down with your mouse inside the window.
Derek joins Avichal Garg, Partner at Electric Capital. This is a great conversation on privacy first technologies, the future of programmable money, and how we reimagine the Internet for the digital economy. Have a listen!
"When I was younger, the Internet was an expression of the aggregate of individual desires of small communities," said Snowden. "There weren't a lot of commercial interests in the earliest expressions of the Internet." But over time, he "saw the replacement of a creative and cooperative network with something that was commercial and competitive ... a system that is fundamentally unfair."
@discipulus They are, but thankfully the best ones are trying to decentralize progressively by creating DAOs, giving up admin functions over contracts, etc.
@bitRainbow I happily accept stablecoins of almost any kind, which I can then use to fund my Crypto.com VISA card. It's not ideal but it's one step in the right direction.
If you register via Brella, you'll have access to a live chat where questions may be pulled and asked of the guests (Edward Snowden, Ken Liu, etc.) Otherwise you can watch via Twitter, YouTube, or listen on Clubhouse.
That's up to the memeunity team at the time. :) They're concerned the platform will be banned in certain jurisdictions once politically charged memes are created and posted, so they reached out to Orchid ahead of time about forming this relationship.
No, sorry. However, we do have a more gas efficient releasing being developed now. :) We'll announce that when ready!
50% efficiency means your account can tolerate 50% higher fees and still be able to connect successfully, and issue lottery tickets when needed. There is a relatively new feature when viewing your hop that shows you the minimum number of tickets your account can issue, which is related to the nanopayments smart contract.
Unless I'm misunderstanding what you're looking for, that's exactly what the video does. You must create an Orchid account using the dApp in order to fund it, and then scan the QR code or copy the text version of the config into the mobile app to create a hop.
Hey there, Orchid is similar to other VPN protocols in the sense that it tunnels all your device traffic through Orchid's network.
Hey there, each partner is running at least one node including VPNSecure, LiquidVPN, and BolehVPN. Bloq will launch at least one node as well once their delegated stake interface is ready. I don't have a firm number but there are enough to handle existing needs.
