Kirill Samoriadov is a Partner at Holdex, where he leads ecosystem partnerships.
His job is to connect the founders Holdex builds with to the blockchain
ecosystems that can move them faster — Sui, Aptos, Monad, WalletConnect, and the
foundations behind them.

He came to it as an operator, not a connector.
Kirill founded QuantNode, a non-custodial staking provider,
and built it from zero into a network running across 20+ chains,
with staked assets peaking near $150M.
Operational since 2022, it gave him a working seat inside the validator
and infrastructure layer of the ecosystems he now opens for founders.

The path started earlier.
He wrote his bachelor's thesis on Bitcoin in 2014 at St. Petersburg State
University, then went full-time into web3 in 2017 as an analyst inside a crypto
VC.
Building a real business on top of that came next.

## What he opens for founders

A foundation relationship is only useful if it changes something
for the founder.
Kirill turns ecosystem access into the things that actually move a roadmap:
ecosystem grants, technical integration support,
and validator and infrastructure backing —
plus direct lines to the foundation teams who decide
where ecosystem resources go.

For a founder, that compresses the slowest part of going multi-chain:
getting a foundation to take you seriously,
and getting their engineers in the room.

## What real decentralization looks like to him

Kirill backs ecosystems where decentralization is structural, not marketing.
Two things decide it: permissionless access —
anyone can join without gatekeeping —
and a network operated by a large enough set of independent operators
that no small group can capture it.
Censorship resistance follows from those two facts or it doesn't exist at all.
It's the lens he applies before he'll put Holdex's founders behind an ecosystem.

## On sustainable web3 businesses

Kirill's hardest stance is on revenue.
Too many web3 projects treat the next VC round as the milestone.
He pushes founders the other way: build a revenue stream from launch,
because revenue is the cleanest proof of product-market fit there is.
A raise buys time.
Customers paying for the product confirm it was worth building.

## How he works

Kirill is a strategic thinker who guards his focus —
he doesn't pour time into work he doesn't believe is worth it,
and he'll tell you directly when that's the case.
Founders get straight answers, follow-through,
and someone who treats the relationship as a long game built on trust.

He does his best work with technical founders who understand their own stack
deeply, and he has little patience for people who don't put action behind their
words.
When the work is on, he keeps the environment easy —
the kind of partner who makes hard problems feel lighter to sit with.
