hmmm... why do you think they didn't disclose it? Shall I sell it now? How it is going to effect the price and reputation?
I agree. If they need to pay out salaries for their developers, they can go with the same way as or other DeFi projects. Dev team is just paid in and they are free to dump it for ETH.
Maybe. Yet, Balancer has plenty of users, farmers, and products built on top of it. I am sure the community would have supported their fundraising. Of course, the VCs likely bought at below-market prices.
VCs get a backroom deal. Look at how yEarn and other projects build a fat treasury without VCs.
Well...if they need money for keeping developing the product why shouldn’t they go to VC?
On the private pools, the whitelisting is done by the pool's owner — not Balancer. All the tokens for swapping in Balancer are ERC-20s.
Is there a complete list of whitelisted tokens in Balancer Finance? I am just curious, as I want to know if I am swapping a whitelisted token against my ETH.
I can't figure out yet a strategy for Balancer being used in trading/day-trading but I guess if the price of the ETH drops, the ETH / DAI pool should have more ETH in it to match the price of the DAI. 🙈
The comparison with @UniswapProtocol in the guide is quite helpful to get what each #DEX is optimized for. Truly, few understand.
Very clever and wonky approach for providing a new kind of #LiquidityPool. Also, the #Snapshot solution, now with @Aragon execution — super sweet for any #CryptoCommunity!
