XR Web is a network conceived to empower the development and use of extended reality (XR) applications, which include Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), and Mixed Reality (MR) — a market that will be worth nearly a trillion dollars by 2025. The XR Web is a decentralised ecosystem where AR/VR applications link to geo-spatial information stored on the Blockchain. Geo-spatial data is important across industries like advertising, e-commerce, social media, real estate, and insurance, among others. XR Tokens are the medium of exchange and storage of value in the XR Web. Importantly, XR Tokens are used for leasing XR Land, 'plots' akin to real estate but on the Spatial Web.
